Californian wine from £5 to £105

Calistoga was Scotland's first Californian restaurant. Opened in August 2004, it has established an excellent reputation. Popular with regular local diners & international visitors to Scotland's fantastic Capital City, the restaurant has been consistently highly recognised for its food, wine & service:

  • 2010 Speciality Restaurant of the Year (Scottish Restaurant of the Year awards)
  • Informal, friendly wine tastings with wine tutor Alastair Henderson
  • Reviewed by Ron MacKenna in The Herald and placed in his Top 25 restaurants in Scotland
  • In Hardens Guide 2007, 2008 and 2009 as one of the top 25 restaurants in Edinburgh
  • Accredited by Eat Scotland
  • Award winning service, including the "James Sankey Award of Excellence" given to Vikki Chalmers.

We have now moved to larger premises in the centre of Edinburgh. Our new 60+ seat restaurant is on the site that was Martins Restaurant for many years and, latterly, Roti in the Lane behind the precinct on Rose St. The building has a 45 seater main dining room, a Californian Wine Lounge and Bar with a further 16 seats for dinner. We also have a private room for up to 12 people, with its own private lounge off.
